Description:

Battery switches/battery disconnect switches are used in the commercial vehicle sector, in camping and mobile homes, in government vehicles, the military, racing vehicles and boats. This prevents unwanted power consumption when not in use and discharge of the starter battery due to leakage currents when the vehicle is not used for a long time. A battery disconnect switch is also used to secure the vehicle against unauthorized use and in an emergency or if there is a risk of short circuits in the vehicle electrical system.
